Giuseppe Daniele Falavigna

Short Bio

Daniele Falavigna is senior researcher at FBK, affiliated with the SpeechTek research unit of the Centre for Information Technology. After graduating in Electronic engineering at the University of Padova in 1985, in 1988 he joined ITC-irst (FBK from 2007). From 2000 to 2004 he lead the research unit DITELO at ITC-irst and from 2016 to 2020 the SpeechTek research unit at FBK. From 2001 to 2004 he was the scientific coordinator of the European Project HOMEY.

His research interests focus mainly on automatic speech recognition, acoustic modelling, speaker verification and recognition.

He has authored more than 100 publications on top ranked international journals and conferences.
